Following discussion yesterday and with a recommendation from GCPA Management Team, in light of recent comments made by Elon Musk, the owner of X Corp., the company that operates the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) and the continued unrest in the UK, GCPA has made a decision to close our X account with immediate effect.

We may be a drop in the social media ocean, but we believe that we can no longer be part of a platform that is owned by someone who is deliberately stoking racial tensions in our country (and elsewhere) on said platform.

Therefore, you will no longer find GCPA on X, but we will remain active on our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts moving forward.
