DHSC Market Sustainability & Improvement Fund: Provider Workforce Capacity & Retention Survey

Dear Provider,

As a condition of receiving an allocation from the Market Sustainability & Improvement Fund, the council is required to report to the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) with certain data around fee rates, workforce and waiting times.

In order to enable us to report to the DHSC with the workforce data, we are asking all commissioned providers to complete a very short online survey to confirm how many staff joined or left their organisation in Gloucestershire during the month of April 2024.

Please could you therefore click on the link below and complete the survey by no later than 11.59pm on Thursday 16th May 2024:

When completing the survey, please note the following:

  • a full-time equivalent employee will work 35 hours per week and is equivalent to 1 FTE
  • as an example, a part-time employee who works 21 hours per week is equivalent to 0.6 FTE
  • as long as they work all or part of their role in Gloucestershire, administrative and other office-based employees should be counted in the totals
  • agency, volunteers and other unpaid staff should not be counted in the totals
  • please round your totals to the nearest 0.1 FTE
